Description

The main thing to remember when looking for a motor drive for your Nikon F2 series body:
make sure the unit has been tested with film loaded in the camera.
Many of these will "run" when turned on, but that is no guarantee that the unit has the power to transport film.
This unit has been tested with film loaded in my F2.  Both forward modes and rewind are operating briskly.
The MS-1 battery trays are clean; interior of the MB-1 is clean.
Battery check function is not fully functional; the clear glass cover is cracked but the needle does twitch when you press the battery check button. This really does not affect usability in any significant way; mentioned for completeness.

Remember:  The MD-1 and MD-2 are basically the same motor drive; the MD-2 is a slightly modified MD-1.  The MD-2 has an LED pilot light and additional circuitry for the MF-3 Auto-Rewind Stop back.  But all the controls are the same.
