These are made to be used in extrema outdoor conditions, severe weather, and heavy foot and vehical traffic.
The covers are not cast as a piece of art.  They are rugged, heavy and can be sharp on the edges.
Please understand you are purchasing a Cast iron Sewer cover, not a finely machined fitting.
Brand New OEM Cast  Iron Water meter Box cover that is designed to be used in the City of New Orleans.
This is a brand new cover, it has not been installed and was never shipped to the city of New Orleans.
Size is approx 11.5 inches in diameter, about 2 inches high, it has 4 small "feet" to rest on, this gives strength when installed in a drive way or side walk.
Weight is approx 10 pounds
My supply is limited.
I have shown several images of the bottom of the cover,  this is to give an idea for those of you who might want to modify the cover to fit a different size opening.
It is possible to grind or cut the cast iron, If you have not done this before, I would suggest you go to a local Auto Body shop,   It is a rather dirty job, as the dust and grindings are both dirty and will rust most surfaces they come in contact with.
The measurements as shown in the images are approximate.  the camera angle can make things look smaller or larger, but it will give you an idea of the possibilities.
