Lapis Lazuli is a sodium aluminum silicate made up of Lazurite, Sulfur, Chlorine, and Hydroxyl. Sometimes this makeup includes Pyrite and White Calcite. The name Lapis Lazuli literally means “blue stone” in Latin.
