    Description

Available here is a nice copy of the illustrated 61-page paperbound book
A History of Sandusky and Erie County
by Charles E. Frohman, published by The Ohio Historical Society in 1965; this book is from the second printing in 1967.  Topics include native Americans in the area, the War of 1812 and Oliver Hazard Perry, the growth of canals, railroads, and industry, the Civil War prison on Johnston's Island, and Cedar Point and Lake Erie steamships.
This book is in excellent condition; the pages are clean, bright, and unmarked, and the cover has a little sun-fading around the edges and a scratch or two but is otherwise excellent.
